Who's Riding Where???

Usually, there would not be any more hikers there than there would be at Cheseboro/Palo Commado. Except that access to Cheseboro is limited until they finish the bridge so that will likely keep some of the weekend warriors away from there.

 

Other stuff in the area is good to go after the rains so it should alleviate some of the traffic on Space Mountain but it still may be a little busy. As long as you don't expect to bomb the DH you should be good to go.

 

Consider it thrown. Saturday March 23rd. My buddy Tony is going to map out the stats. Right now I'm guesstimating 70 miles and 7-8k feet. Adjustments can be made on the return trip depending on how we're feeling. I'll post up when I get the approximates.

 

Thanks guys. My suspicion/line of thinking was that while Cheseboro may not be less crowded, it's at least more open and less cumbersome to maneuver around hikers. I've never ridden Space Mountain though, so this is just my assumption based off of pics and trail descriptions. Sounds like Chesebro for tomorrow and Space Mountain for midweek is the call.

I thought I had less than that, but somehow I rode 4 times in January for a total of 50 miles and 7000'. None since then.

Hitting P12 tomorrow: 3/19/2019. I'll be at the P12 Cul-De-Sac between 4:30 and 5:00pm.
Shooting for 20 miles and at least 3,000 feet.

 

Staying local tomorrow to get my whopping 10 miles in at Calavera, hopefully @pperrelle is around and then a group of (8) of us are off to Shredona on Thursday morning, stopping on the ay to ride Sonoran Mountain Reserve in PHX

 

Wednesday workout on Tuesday just in case the rain comes on Wednesday.

 

Saturday going to Fullerton Bikes 50 year anniversary, they will be having demos and riding around the loop and Sunday riding Bonelli for my birthday
