Who's Riding Where???

Yep, a bit late for a '18 destination... BC is predominantly flow terrain, but some rockier gems include Little Scraggy, Charlie’s Cutoff, CT, Blackjack, Shinglemill. Beautiful area, as seen in the vid, and rightly popular.

 

Join me Sunday the 16th for the JRA Rountain Bike Ride. It's a 4 stage road and mountain bike event. It starts off with a short road ride followed by mountain then road then a finish with mountain. It starts and ends at JRA. Barbecue at the finish.

Plan shift says I must seek them, today. Sun is shining, the weather is sweet. Make you want to move, the pedalin feet... Yea it's 20° out, but lubrication still works, eh? LTF out, I'm a green-tea-and-soy-milk powered machine!!! Or at least I'm going riding

@herzalot, how does Apex Park to Chimney Gulch sound?? I climbed CG once and thought, wow, this has to be a fun descent. Easy access to extra credit from the bottom of CG; pass 7-11 on the bike path to North Table Rountain or White Ranch

 

How do you go about switching between your mtn bike and your roadie for the appropriate sections??

Who’s riding where on SATURDAY?

 

It was awesome, so much good it's hard to highlight any given moment. Surprisingly, I even enjoyed the technical climbs. Fun change from all the fireroad climbing I do. I would be out there exploring every weekend if it were closer. If this used to be a secret spot I must be one of the last to the party because I saw at least 50 riders throughout the day. Including a large group 50/50 of men and women from 40-60 in age riding the chunky stuff. Not one hiker dog or horse. A small slice of MTB heaven. When my buddy edits his video I'll try to remember to add it here.

 

Glad you had a great time. Remember to tell him to use fight club rules in his video. I know it's not a secret, but it's still best not to name the location.

 

I am doing SkyPark again on Saturday. Get there early ... parking was stupid crowded last Sunday with the children who believe and the parents who lie to them. The trails are money though ... even Comet is not blown out. Rain next week ... now is the time.
