That’s a badazz goal! When I start riding again my goal will be miles over speed....it’s safer that way

Ssssnake, the tour guide, is guiding some friends through the Cheese and then a quickie through Colossus tomorrow.

 

Decisions, decisions....but whatever it is it will probably be on the adventure/gravel bike. That thing is even more funner now that I don't have a lead weight for a rear wheel.

Lights are charging right now, along with the Garmin. I may be getting up early.

 

After reading @SnakeCharmer's ride report it reminded me of a ride I've wanted to do for a while. Going to ride from here over into Cheeseboro then do part of New Millennium and Colossus and head back. Not sure on miles and elevation but should be 4-5 hours ride time.

 

Had I but known....hell, had you but known, and been willing to ride slower. Someday I need to head up that way.

 

Las Llajas fire road out and back. Finally getting Jennifer back on her MTB. It's only 7 miles but it's a start.

 

Made some errors in calculations this morning regarding my choice of surf location and equipment, so I bailed on surfing and I am now headed out to salvage a little bit of fitness with a short, ordinary Aliso ride from Canyon Vistas. See you there! (10:00 am Sunday, October 28).

EDIT: Fail #2 on the day. Dropped down 5-Oaks and my derailleur was all messed up B-angle screw was not seated and appears bent. Got it back in place, but could not get the derailleur set right. I'm usually pretty good at that including setting high and low speed limits, adjusting the proper cable tension and fine tuning the indexing. Couldn't get it right. Chain wouldn't stay put. But that's a topic for a different thread.

 

I had enough singletrack yesterday. Heading out to B* in a few.

 

Jennifer's going to head to the spa for a facial and a massage. Guess who's going for another ride?
