We have our tickets to see The Nun on Friday evening.

 

The Nun is the base story for the The Conjuring movie series. It was different than the other movies in the series. It had some good scary moments (my wife jumped out of her seat several times and I got goosebumps a few times) but I don't think it was as good as the others in the series. Still, if you like The Conjuring series, then you should see this one.

 

Just watched intense stylishy Cyberpunk action dystopia Harry Philip K Dick-ish. Very tight quick what a lot of the big budgets try to do and can't. If you like Ex Machina you might like this.

idk the last time I watched a movie about a mountain it killed my dream to be a Cowboy.

I saw that and Hotel Artemis this summer. Both good mid--budget SF flicks I really liked. Upgrade is definitely more of the big ideas one.

Yess, loved this one!

 

My wife and I are going to watch Free Solo tonight. It’s Alex Honnold’s journey on a free climb on El Cap. No rope, no harness, no fear.

 

Alex is also featured in Mountain, he’s truly amazing! Let me know what you think! Hoping to see that one at our local climbing gym.

 

No way in heck would my wife go and watch The Nun, or any other horror flick. Especially any horror flick based on supernatural shenanigans
So on our next date night we are going to see the remake of A Star is Born. Starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper...

It's supposed to be a really good flick (Please note I enjoyed the Greatest Showman, so take from that what you will).
Worst case scenario: Just imagine every scene with Bradley is in as having Rocket Raccoon in it.

 

I hear that it's actually a good movie. You can't go wrong with Bradley Cooper, he's a great entertainer and Lady Gaga sings and acts well. However, Bradley's voice leaves something to be desired.

 

Dang, I had no idea that Bradley Cooper was Rocket's voice?! WOW!

Just saw Free Solo today, Excellent movie, epic and inspiring. The greatest athletic performance I can think of! Even though you know how it ends the climbing scene is gripping.

 

I’m excited to see this one!
