Oh, and these are helpful too if you can still find them at Costco $30. I’m recovering from surgery so I’m telling you first hand. Much cooler looking than a cane and adjustable too. I would use one to push the wall so I could get out of bed.

Have to admit the trekking pole idea is something I never thought of. I believe any old ski-pole would suffice. When graduating from walkers/chair/crutches go to the poles. Can't ski anymore but I will keep the poles, knock wood. You're a tuff old bird mikie, keep healing up!!!!
