Nah didn’t hit Toads last year. Burt and I hit Armstrong to Corral instead. Had a blast on that since it’s flowy with lots of features. Reminds me of demo forest in Santa Cruz

I'll be honest – I'd rather try for the flash and have as little preview as possible. Climbing MO bleeds into biking. Something pure about hitting something unseen and/or sussing it yourself...without an illustration of sequence. Although I do appreciate you posting the link, and you know I'll check it out afterward

Toads will not disappoint, @mike. It's mostly ridden as a shuttle, but even shuttling you still have a fair amount of climbing. I think you can also loop it a couple different ways. Either way, no free lunch, but man is it good. Let us know your thoughts after.

How much longer you up that way? I'm headed to the Eastern Sierras sometime in August, maybe I could swing a Tahoe extension somehow. I need to get back to Toads.

Saturday's plan is Zoltan, Chivo, Las Llajas, Seashells, Rocky Peak, Johnson, Stagecoach. Meeting at Corriganville at 7am.

It's the Rocky Peak area. Right on the border of Ventura and LA County off the 118. Nothing too technical but some of the climbs are steep but short for the most part.

 

I'm riding Saturday morning.....I should be in bed right now.
