I would never promote that I think the Wilderness Pass is a total joke and bought one once, and would never tell someone to not get it and that if you get cited to throw it in the trash as the fine is about as much as the pass and they never follow up anyway if you don't pay... Nope! I would never suggest or say that!

Better deal: America the Beautiful annual pass. Good for national park entry, ntional forest adventure pass, BLM entry, etc. Only $80. I use the heck out of mine.
