Titanium

There has been a titanium version of the Moxie, but Pipedream only manages to make like 20 per year. The shorter travel Sirius has only been available in steel until now.

I'm guessing that they are in the position to expand, and increase production...

My riding bud in Tucson owns nothing but ti frames. His burly HT 29er, his SS 29er, and his gravel bike....All of them are titanium.

 

I too have 3, One Opt, one Rad and one ???.

There is an art to timing your strokes to avoid strikes or to use them as leverage.

 

Bike hoppers like you could clean it.

You don't even need to turn the cranks.

 

Only comes with two pedals. Mights as well just be a Tesla

 

You just know that someone, somewhere, will eventually try to home anodize one of those pretty frames. They'll use Coke or baking soda or something and end up with dirty blue and pink.

Also, I get that most people don't know or need to know this, but welding titanium is a lot like welding stainless steel. There is no magic, although it's easier to hang a titanium price tag on magic than boring ol' facts. ;-)

 

The car club I belong to just got one in their rental fleet for members. I'm anxious to get it for a day.

I didn't realize they rented cars. Nice spot for sure. Too far for me though.
I like to stay far East of the Westside if I can.

 

It's a small, but cool fleet. I think right now it's a Stage 3 manual M2, an '87 911, a 2002, and the Z06. There was an Alfa 3C Spider, but I think that went away to make room for the Vette.

The club isn't particularly convenient to me either, but will be moreso when the new spot opens. It's going to be a nice step up from the old spot, and is going to have a public facing coffee shop. They also do strategic partnerships with vendors, and I was able to partner our dealership up with them.

HP likes it, but makes it seem like they could have done a few things better.

 

Aside from the price, the rear brake tabs kill it. Although a dropper, stem and bars are included.

 

I wonder what cracks first?

 

27.5 and no sliding dropouts? It's not rideable.

 

But it was cutting edge in 2016 when they made it in 2021.
