Did he only have 2" screws in the toolbox? Some of those look like they go right through and come out the other side!

Not to worry you - But those three lower screws look like they shouldn't protrude beyond the bone. o_O

Oh - I see I am not the only one to notice this. Asked and answered.

Well yesterday was 8 weeks post op.....11 weeks since the initial injury.

Saw the Ortho......he said everything looked good. Couldn't even see the break on the X-ray. Said I was free to get back to activities with no real restrictions....even said I could ride my bike. I don't think he truly understands me. :cautious: However, he did say to avoid high risk situations......again, I don't think he understands me. :whistling:

But it gives me a sense of relief knowing that the aches and pains that I feel are not the breaks any more, nor are they related to any kind of rotator cuff injury.

    Yeah....I wish.....

Unfortunately I do not possess the range of motion nor the strength to hold onto the bars right now. The stability isn't there. If I were to get into the dirt right now, if i hit a rut or rock wrong, I don't have the power to pull myself out of it.

You are young, but your balance will be off, especially when you are climbing and need to stop and then change direction. But youngster that will all return soon enough

You know I'm sure you have more innate ability than I but even the weird like the first time I got on my bike after literally being off it for 8+ weeks. Even balance felt weird and the fit of the bike and everything weird and that sensation seems worse the older I get.

Getting out there get some strength going and some balance and all that it'll feel great.

It's the little unexpected things that we have to be ready for when we ride when our body's not right. The little things can turn into big things fast.

You'll be out kicking all of our asses here shortly so no worries there. :)

today uncle Joe crashed. The media is making a big deal. It was nothing, he had come to a stop and forgot to put his foot down. He does not look like the track stand type. And we all know how easy it is to fall when not moving. Lucky Joe, he had people to pick him up

I'm a little worried about the "forgot to put a foot down" comment. If that's true, that's sad for him and scary for us.

Sorry. Back to talking about @mtnbikej please. Didja ride today, J?

I would say not a regular rider, but he had balance when moving
