    I will have to think about it. And find a bike, or I guess I could ride my Niner. Maybe if I can catch a ride with someone there and not drive by myself. I will end up being disaster free. I do want to do it, just cant afford to have any more issues.

    I've been thinking about it... I just re-read the 2018 reports and watched my own video of the course. :inlove:

    I’m in. Planning on a cruise and enjoy my day but I’ll pick up the pace like I always do on race day.

    You are doing the hundred (read: the 88.6), yes, J?

    I could probably get most time on the course, maybe with lights and bivy gear.

    Move along, @evdog!!!!!!!!!! :stop::D

    I need to knock out the 100….but I’d prefer to play on the 50 and go to Gooseberry the day after.

    I am considering the NUE series as a backup plan for next years racing. So, I might be in on this race.

    I am looking into doing a few of the NUE races as well. I am thinking True Grit, already signed up for the High Cascade 100 and then Grizzly 100. Also, hoping to do some Epic Rides, Whiskey off road, maybe the Grand Junction (depending on if I can fly. Definitely not driving unless I can get someone to go with me), Carson City off road, Tour of White Mountains and then a possible Old Pueblo.

    I am still on the fence. Currently, I only have my Ripley which is totally fine. I just prefer to race hardtails specifically singlespeed. Esker is going to replace my frame with a current model Japhy which is a little more aggressive and a 29+, which I will never use. But, I am more interested in getting a Spot Rocker just don't think I can get it in time for the True Grit. I am starting a remodel of my kitchen and depending on how that goes will determine if I can get the Rocker or not. The Japhy will not become available until April.

    Did I understand it right that Eskar won't be sending a replacement frame until April?!

    @SnakeCharmer , that is correct. They are out of inventory on Japhy's until April and out of Haydukes until Jun. Kind of sucks but am hoping to not need it we will see how things go with the Spot. They are out of inventory until Feb.

    What's amazing to me is that they haven't tracked down the right size frame (or complete bike to take the frame from) from a bike shop somewhere in the country. Gotta keep the client happy.

    But think of how rested you’d be for the race if you kept the riding to a minimum between now and then… :whistling:

    And only ride the geared bike… :whistling:

    I have added the peloton into my training. It’s hard to ride this time of year. It’s so damn cold and dark all the time.

    Are my teammates from 25 hours of Frog Hollow all doing the True Grit? If so, are you all doing the 50 or 100? If I can do it, I am going geared. My SS is my old Sir 9 and it is running rigid with a steep head angle, no dropper. So for that course I think the safe bet is my Ripley. I also have only ridden a couple 1 hour rides since the race.

    I've done it on the SS & Hightower....I prefer the SS.

    Cool. I want to do it but have to wait to register because I am remodeling my house and need to wait and see when I can get flooring installed to not interrupt that. Hopefully, they don't sell out in the next couple of weeks. I would love to join you guys

    Considering they have an event field of 1400 and only 540 registered....think you'll be good to go.
