I'm not a super fan of their Fat Tire ale, but I'm digging all the different Voodoo Ranger variations that New Belgium has.

 

Firestone Walker just released IPA based upon New Zealand limited time 6 packs 6 different spins per pack

 

My buddy Tony's son just got a job at Budweiser and asked if I drink beer as they get a discount. I said sure! Brings home two cases of Elysian Space Dust. $5 a case okay?

I’ve been exploring ciders lately (trying to avoid those inflammatory grains). I find I like the dry, less sweet ones.
I’ve been getting this at TJs. Pretty good. Trying an Irish one next.

The Firestone Single Hops Series is solid! LOVED the Mosaic one. Their Double Barrel was my go to fancy beer in college (UCSB) when I had extra $. LOL

 

This is really solid from Ten Mile Brewing Co - Hooked On Onyx Black IPA.

Latest offering I'm liking in my neck of the woods: Tropical Borealis from Wanderlust Brewing in Flagstaff. Hazy IPA with Mosaic, Idaho 7 and Amarillo hops, brewed with some Saisonish yeast strain. Not a great photo, grabbed from the interwebs. Color is actually a bit more weird/off-putting in real life, but the final product is quite tasty. Available a half-mile down the road in 32-oz. buckets for cheap, so I'm restraining myself.

 

Just going to say... my mind hurts when people try to be cool by using a foreign language term... and then they don't spell it correctly.

It's either "banzai" or "bonsai". "Bonzai" is not a word. (Referring to the beer names on the menu)

 

Ask if he can grab you a few cases of Spaten Oktoberfest They are much harder to get... but AB/Inbev owns them now

No idea what it is beer from my free beer supplier. It was made for Anheuser-Busch employees and not for resale. Benny has no idea what it is either. Whatever it is, it's pretty good.

Was at a brewpub in HB and my friend and I tried a strawberry mojito hard kombucha.
Didn’t expect much, but it was good! Good enough that we’ll both have it again.

Here's to summer

 

Escaped Sedona for the entire month of July, due to the forest closures and relentless heat. Spent the month on the western slope of Colorado, based out out of Montrose and Durango. This was a good local beer option. Nothing remarkable, but nicely refreshing for post-ride happy hour:
