The Taycan sedan is gorgeous. That thing is, well, not. But I'll bet it's fast!

Should you need something to fill said bike rack, Porsche announced today that it will also sell two different electric-assist bicycles through its dealerships, both of which feature carbon wheels inspired by the Taycan's roofline. The Porsche eBike Sport is geared more towards on-pavement fun, with a full-suspension carbon fiber frame, Shimano drivetrain, Magura brakes and Supernova lighting. The Porsche eBike Cross is the version ready for dirt, with a hydraulically adjustable Crankbrothers seat post, Shimano trip computer and Magura MT brakes.

How do you like the Stooge? I just sold my F/S mountain bike and I'm interested in a long wheelbase, slack rigid specific mtb. Stooge just came on my radar. They look like they're a lot of fun.

Hi Bryan, if you're looking for a fully rigid non-suspension corrected bike, Stooge is 100% the way to go. Very thoughtfully designed, Andrew is INCREDIBLY easy to work with, fast shipping from the U.K. I wanted a rigid MTB, but with all modern designs and geometry. Stooge gave me all that. About $1,000 by the time it's shipped.

I've found out that rigid beats me up a bit, and I get headache the next day if I ride it aggressively. That's not a Stooge bike problem, but just something to do with rigid, at least with me. But on longer cruiser rides when I'm not trying to keep up with a bunch of high school kids, it's great! I have a Black Mountain La Cabra on order, and when it comes in, I'll build up and share wheelset between the two. I'll have to decide if there is enough variation between the two to justify keeping both.

Let me know if you have any specific questions, happy to talk about bikes!

Pretty bike. I don't know what it is, but I am guessing Ripley AF? 34 fork and non-piggyback shock says mid to low travel territory. Congrats.

I tried that once but the handlebars were weird and the suspension well I’m not gonna go there. Truth be told I should’ve kept it.

Let that be a lesson to you, don't go selling off bikes too quickly! I've done that in the past and have regretted it.

    And Happy New Bike Day!

Congratulations! Very nice, looks like a load of fun. Oh, and, you do need it. A little denial is okay. :) I’m hoping you get some scratches on it ASAP, but not the Yeti way. Enjoy it!

Cool. Thanks for the info. I have my steel hardtail I'm going to stick with for the time being. But there's something about the simplicity of a fully rigid mtb that allures me. The problem is finding a shop to demo one. I don't even know where to start there. I don't really ride anything technical so the hardtail makes mellower trails more fun for me. My hardtail is older now, so it has more traditional geometry than modern bikes. That's something I'm really interested to compare it to.

I like my current stead quite a bit. Point it down and it is fast, fun and stable. Point it up and it's a serious grind. So I've had my eye out for a bike with climbing prowess. As we all know, here in So Cal climbing is the lions share of the time spent on the bike.
After looking, and second guessing myself, etc etc I pulled the trigger. The component build is lower end, but the same frame as all but the highest build, and it's still almost 3 lbs lighter than my current bike. Figure once I swap components ( J's Garage is going to get a call ) it'll drop another 3-4 lbs. Heck, I just hope it doesn't float away like a balloon!!

A 2021 Epic EVO. or as I thought while riding it, a rocket...

Thanks! I didn't notice the two bottle holders, but I see em now, nice .
The down tube has 3 bolts, I figure it's so there's 2 choices on the bottle position.

Looks great and should be a party to ride. Easily in the low to mid 20 pound range with just a few parts and plenty capable. Why didn’t I buy one? Oh yeah cuzz I couldn’t find one that’s why.

I just happen to walk in right after they got a shipment. Boxes stacked up! They received two of the epic evo in medium, and one was already sold.
Anyway, the bike I wanted and in stock when I was there.
Paid deposit so they'd build it, then tried it out and poof....new bike day. :)
