Eurobie intro

Hey everyone,

Eurobie is the upscale European flavor of a newbie. That's me.

I moved to Irvine a couple of years back from a flatter country and added mountain biking to my sports menu. I used to race triathlon and I'm still in half-decent shape. Long rides are my thing. Call me a masochist, but I enjoy ascents more than descents.

I'm definitely looking to add new ride buddies to my impressive collection of zero. So if you can stomach one more middle-aged fellow in lycra, feel obligated to ping me. I'm ready to ride anytime.

These guys shamed me out of lycra... I was a devout Pearl Izumi Attack consumer but I eventually buckled...
We take all strays in so you can already add to your count of friends.
The motto here is "Ride Lots, Write Lots!"
Then of course contribute to the Sh!t talk and never take anything personal.... cuzz we know mountain bikers all have great people skillz.

I've been known to put together some death marches......er, long strolls in the Santa Ana's.

@Hans - welcome welcome! You have come to the right place - middle aged (and perhaps 3/4 aged) dudes who love to climb. I fail to qualify on one of those terms, but represent the other well. My Avatar is a hint.

I suggest taking a ride with @mtnbikej right away. You can introduce him to this "climbing" thing of which you speak!
