What type of riding is most suitable for a SS bike? I mean, are they intended to be light weight carbon zippy speedsters or like the Santa Cruz Chameleon that can handle 3’ drops under a Clydesdale?

 

Mountain Biking.

 

Anything a given rider feels comfortable doing on a given geared bike would be the same for that bike if it was set up SS.

Its more about the rider than the bike.
