Is there anybody out there with Keto answers?
Everything is cool, I feel good, and my version of the diet is really easy.
I feel good on the bike.

    But there are questions...
Do any of you have experience you care to share?
What did you eat during and after rides? Everybody else is snacking.
I really wanted a protein shake today, I'm clueless.

In November I was pushing 2.6 tons and now sitting at 190.
You could probably guess I'm not looking to switch back to the old diet/lifestyle right now.

What did you eat during and after rides? Well if I ride with a group the meal is dust. Sure you can eat dust but after a little while it looses its taste

190 lbs without a height reference is moot.

@TherealJohnG I don't follow a Keto diet. But, I do eat very close to Paleo. Focusing on clean organic non-gmo foods. With that said I use Tailwind during my rides and Tailwind Recovery after my rides. All organic, vegan friendly. No wheat, gluten, soy, or dairy. I'm positive other peeps on here will back this product! Check it out if you haven't already.

Tailwind during ride....for rides over 2 hrs. I don’t eat on rides under 2 hrs.

I'm not a keto expert or practitioner, but with Tailwinds being almost pure sugar I feel pretty confident in saying it's not keto friendly. That's not a slag. I'm an avowed Tailwinds user. I have a friend who does ironmans, and also follows a keto diet. I remember her telling me at one point that she would literally eat a stick of butter before events, and drink exogenous ketones during. That almost sounds worse to me than doing the ironman itself, but she is an absolute beast of an athlete.

Like Matt, I’m not a Keto follower. A good friend of mine Louanne, is a strong ultra runner, she was keto for years, up until just a few months ago, she finally gave it up as it stopped being a benefit and was more of a hinderance. From my research and her input it’s not sustainable and is not great for long term, also it is not good for diabetics or pre-diabetics.
All that to say, she would fuel her runs and rides with nut butters, keto friendly gels and powders w MCT oils, and bulletproof coffee with heavy cream.
This probably didn’t help you one bito_O:p

Can you be more specific on the "type" of chicken nuggets you are inquiring about?

Proving again that any topic, in a single page, can lead us to Tailwind and weed. :p:oops::cool:

@TherealJohnG, I rudely did not mention: Good work taking control and shedding the weight. I don't have anything technically useful to add on the topic. Keep on.
