@rossage @mike and I have camped a few times here and there. We had our separate tents, but I cannot deny we broke a few zippers overnight.

 

I’m in! Mikie thank you for the ride offer but Debbie is going to join me for the trip. She won’t do the ride with us but wants to check out the area, do some hiking while we ride. Will meet you at Flying J.

 

Hey hey... Sorry for the late reply. I had a disaster on CA-2 last eve involving several large rocks and a car tire.

Will probably head up Fri night, dirgbag-camp somewhere (Quaking Aspen, Peppermint, Lloyd Mdw), then wait for you guys at Quaking Aspen AM.

 

Right on. I’m back to not in status. Too much to do this week. Have a good time!

 

Uh huh.....you'll be back in this afternoon, then out this evening only to be in again in the morning and out again by night. And of course the out at night can change anytime, particularly at sleepy time....


But then I was never in so can't be out.....

Looks like I'm going to be working this weekend so I won't be joining for this one. Looks like a killer ride though! Can't wait to see the ride report!

 

I survived... I’m not sure I could drive back to HB if I had to. Complete exhaustion.

It’s 12:02am and I just got home.

 

I'll let someone else type...the cartilage in my hands is separating.

 

These rides build character and make for great stories for years to come. The benchmark for YOLO MTB may have been raised yesterday.

 

I'm traumatized a bit. Just wanna remember the peaceful, pretty stuff:

When you guys arrived, it was a real "somebody farted and won't cop to it" vibe. Now I realize it was just buyer's remorse.

EDIT: @HBkites, That Revel is beautiful. I (as always) covet a Ventana as my next, but the Revels look very good.
