That's a great list. I've done Keysville and the Sea Otter Classic. Looking to do the Whiskey at one point.

I have ridden Keysville many times and may do the race this year. Rode Downieville a few years ago and always wanted to do Sea Otter just to knock it off the bucket list.

Planning to do #1 as a part of the NUE series this year (also the Wilderness 101, and Cascades 100).
Keyesville is on my list of a one of these days event.
    Not interested in Whiskey.
I'd have to look into Pisgah to see if it interests me.
Sea Otter last year for the ProXCT and I road raced too. Probably won't go this year since there basically isn't a pro season this year. But I'll go back next year.
FEARS, TEARS, AND BEERS sounds interesting, if I can race as a Pro. I don't like enduro racing normally due to excessive lift use and short events.
Downieville is definitely on my one of these days list.
Not interested in the Breck Epic
Others I'd have to look into before deciding, or not interested in.

    Yup, in for TGE #5

I hear different things about the Whiskey....not really interested.

Breck Epic is brutal from friends that have done it.

that pic from Iceman Cometh just looks miserable.

    Not BP events.

they are certainly XC Endurance events. But they offer a wide variety of terrains and technical riding.

Most riders who do these races wouldn't know what to do in a bikepacking event that doesn't have aid stations, handholding, or a time limit to tell them when they've been cut off.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... One of the best sites ever was the guy making the custom smoothies with a generator at the top of the Stagecoach Climb out of Avalon. For the record, though, I skipped the hand made smoothie in the beginning, and only stopped there at the end of the race. :p

I'm currently planning to do all of the Epic Rides races this year (Whiskey, Grand Junction, Carson City, and Oz trail).
I have paid for the 24 hours of Old Pueblo, Whiskey, and Oz trail.
I'm keeping an eye on the Pike Peak Epic.....

To date, I have done the Tru Grit, and Whiskey.

Those willing to spend time in Arizona. These events look to be fun. I believe 1 or 2 of them are bikebacking events. Sedona Big Friggin loop has been on my radar for years.

Every year I say I'm going to go up to Sea Otter (not to race but for the vendor area) and EVERY YEAR, I end up on vacation somewhere. Just like clockwork, I'll miss it this years as I head out for the Virgin Islands on the 15th. Maybe next year.

I used to do some races down this way...Sagebrush Safari for several years and a race held at Camp Pendleton which was very well run but had limited single track. I don't have the "drive" in me any more to race and push harder when somebody passes me. I just spin along going up and then come down at usually 80% and I'm happy as a clam doing do.

It was my first time at the 24HOP, and overall it was a successful event.
I was the "fastest" rider on a none competitive team.
I got there the night before the race and did my recon lap two hours before the start.
I ended up doing another 4 more laps during the race, and I had a chance to go for another, but I was toast.
All together I rode 81 miles (5 laps) in less than 24 hours.

The course is plain vanilla as expected. No real challenging features, and probably best suited for a HT.
The night laps where cold. It was hard finding the motivation to get going at 12:30 am.

The drinking and other festivities are not my cup of tea. IMO most participants had a good time.

Would I do it again? probably. Next year? too soon to tell.
