This is how your controls should be set up. Don't crowd the grips. This will help keep your hands centered on the grips.

OK Kids - I take back my endorsement of the ESI Chunky silicone grips. Not only are they a huge pain to install and remove, but I get hand cramps from them. I had the Extra Chunky for my big hands, and they were worse. I went to the regular chunky for the past year and I am glad to be done with them.

Last week, I fell over twice trying to clean a slow, tight corner and I knocked a chunk of the grip off. That was the impetus for looking for something else.

That something else is something else indeed. The ODI Elite Pro. One sided lock ons, so you don't have to wrestle the clamps onto the ends of the grips like other ODIs. The bar plug end is already in place, so no plugs to worry about. The outer end of the grip is rubber, so no metal ring under your palm.

I've only ridden them yesterday and today, but my hand cramps are basically gone. They have a slight bulge under the palm, so you have to mount them the right way (waffle side up, in contact with your palm). They are slightly bigger in diameter than a Ruffian, Vans or an Aaron Gwin grip, but not as big as a Rogue.

So far, I love these things. Easy to install. Great diameter and awesome feel with or without gloves.

They look pretty good. Might be trying some sooner rather than later. I just put on some new to me Eastons today, and while the outside clamp didn't bother me, my ends were feeling somewhat numbed from them. Not sure what the problem is. Coming from Ergons which are super comfy, but reduce hand positions.

Never heard of these before, but grabbed them while waiting for my bike to be finished. Once I touched them, I bought them. Diameter similar to ODI Rogue, with a feel similar to ESI. One sided lock on. You're welcome!!!!

I bought those for my new bike - but they are blue. I've never actually tried them.

Been using these for quite a while on my hardtail and I like em. The foam has a kind of tacky feel and those little fingertip notches come in handy when you get to bouncing around (not that you would know what bouncing around feels like with your megatraveltower thingy).

The Megatraveltower thingy is not as plushy plush as you might think. So far, it rides the same as the new Hightower.

Disclaimer: I am supported by ODI.

These are my grips of choice on my Enduro. I really like them, a lot.

These are my preferred XC grips. Though I do use Vapor F1 (like ESI, but with the finger notches of the Dreadlocks) when using gripshift.

The more squish, the bigger the hits!
