I would have pounced on it if it worked with a 30 mm spindle.

    Of course they are.

How do ya know someone rides SS? Don’t worry, they’ll tell ya. :p

Yes, insert whatever subcategory of a sport in place of SS...freeheel skiers and climbing guides are fair game. :D

I can only aspire at this point...:cool:

Unfortunately, after 20 or so years of SS, it's not a viable an option since I'm too slow even on a geared bike. However, at the time, one of my friends had a Phil Wood bottom bracket that worked with 68/73 systems and would convert to SS. Best MTB product that I've ever seen.

Too slow?? There must be some standardized minimum speed or maximum time parameter that I was not made aware of for mountain bike riding. Please let me know what it is so I can disregard it.

...so slow anyone riding behind you has to clip out or risk falling?

I just rode 5 miles on a flat dirt road with my 8yo nephew and it was fantastic. Took over 2 hours, talk about slow...

    Nice illustration.

Pro tip: If you go slow enough you don’t need to take any breaks and you won’t be tired afterward. But you might not become a media influencer. :cautious::geek:
