Apparently lead makes people stupid and angry... a bad combination!

 

Are we talking eating paint chips lead, or just spending time in that room with lead in the paint lead?

 

Ingestion of lead in solid, liquid, or vapor. Lead paint is not harmful until you lick it or sand it off a surface, which makes the particles airborne that can be inhaled.

 

And never forget the dose makes the poison.

Eating paint chips isn't a good thing, but if you have exposed lead paint (not covered up by layers of latex paint), it's going to be everywhere in the home. The problem was the paint in addition to lead being in the atmosphere due to it being in all the car exhaust. Plus water pipes had lead content from the solder in the joints. Hooray!

Older homes (pre-70's) are recommended to get the paint checked. If you're in one, you can get a kit cheap. If you you get a lot of positives, ask your health care provider for a blood test.

 

Lol. Hmm.. Could you argue if you're already stupid and angry, you're more likely to try something like paint chips???
