I have not tried many but so far my fav has been the Mountain King, much better
than the Butcher (great as a rear tire).

I'd like the DHF and the MK pls.

Do you make coffee at home?

My mistake, I got the model confused. I like the Trail King 2.4 as a front tire, it has mo' volume and grip than the
Butcher 2.3, but can def feel the added traction while climbing. I have not tried the Mountain King 2.3, prob makes for
a good rear tire. Anything is an improvement over the SpecEd Slaughter...

I am heading back up to my old house now and will check tire widths. The continentals were on my hardtail but very lightly used for just a few OTH races.

The Maxxis are decent width but yeah, the rest were for my hardtail with older Stans Arch rims. 2.2 tires work just fine on narrower rims so just depends on what people are running.

Trash pick up was today so whatever is left come next Wednesday will be in the trash for the next haul.

Thanks Rocky. I do not have a use for the narrower tires. I haven't tried the DHF and will try the MK as a rear.

The DHF has good tread left and the Minion SS has life left as well, great combo. I just went with a 2.5 WT on my rims instead of the regular 2.5 DHF. Took the SS off for a mud fest race last year and never put it back on so it’s not too old and in good shape. Even that nobby nic has decent tread for a rear tire. The specialized are definitely a bit narrow but good if anyone has a 29” grocery getter.
