    True story: My ultra-conservative right-wing family members living in Arizona boycott Del Taco because it's a "liberal" California company. As I'm a nice person, I haven't pointed out to them that Taco Bell (which is on their approved list) is based in Irvine.

    In-N-Out gets a pass because they put Bible verses on the french fries bags.

    Taqueria El Zamorano #2, on Harbor in CM, 5th or so visit since they recently opened.
    OC Register calls their shrimp taco best in OC. I thought it was good, not sure about best. IMO, the handmade tortilla is the raison d'etre.

    All the talk of Floop on here, and no mention in this thread (as best I could find) of Baja California Fish Tacos in Fullerton. My job takes me all over the lower third of the state, and I'm constantly on a quest for the best seafood tacos. I've found none better than those.

    Since the wife managed to break yet another kitchen faucet last night I knew I had some work to do this evening when I got home. I gave her two very specific instructions. Get me beer and tacos for dinner. She came home with a f@ck!ng rotisserie chicken :thumbsdown:. Oh well at least she remembered the beer and the faucet install only took about 10 minutes:thumbsup:. I bet rotisserie chicken tacos are probably not a good idea though?
