Tailwind Nutrition Rebuild Coffee coming soon
Rebuild Coffee will be made with real coffee beans for an authentic flavor

Good news for coffee-loving cyclists courtesy Tailwind Nutrition. The Durango, Colorado-based company announced that it will be releasing Rebuild Coffee in spring of 2019. This comes after the successful and well-received launch of Rebuild recovery drink mixes in Chocolate and Vanilla.

Aiming to meet customer demand with the addition of a Coffee flavor, the new offering will have all the benefits of the original Rebuild, but with 70 mg of caffeine. Rebuild Coffee will be made with real coffee beans for an authentic flavor and a sweet buzz.

For those unfamiliar, Tailwind Nutrition Rebuild Coffee is a recovery drink mix that allows endurance athletes to better recover before their next demanding race or workout. Rebuild’s stickpacks ($3) are a convenient option for on-the-go athletes, while its 15-serving bags ($39) are great for regular users.

Rebuild recovery drink is based on a patent-pending complete protein, a groundbreaking organic rice and coconut milk-based formula that’s specially designed to restore your energy and recover your muscles after exercise.

It is formulated with all of the essential building blocks: carbohydrates, electrolytes, and amino acids. This is what your body needs to replace depleted glycogen stores, balance your metabolism, and rebuild broken-down muscle fibers. Rebuild easily mixes with water for a smooth, delicious drink without the whey, dairy, or excess protein waste found with many competitors.

Other notable features include all-natural ingredients, and it’s non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free. This makes it ideal for vegan diets or those with food sensitivities. Rebuild contains twice the amount of protein found in chocolate milk and nearly three times as much protein found in many competing recovery products. And it’s made in the USA, and owned, operated, formulated and hand-prepared in Durango, Colorado.

Nope, that dog must belong to somebody at Tailwind. Here's my dog out on a hike in downtown Durango along the Animas River

Overlooking Smelter Rapid from Smelter Mt. Looks like they've done a lot of man-made alteration to the river there, since the last time I ran a slalom on it (1985?). The best part of the Class III drop is out of the picture at the bottom.

    Beautiful photo!

I looked a little closer and see there are slalom gates hanging in the photo! Water level's a little low though, well, 'cuz it's fall.

They have done tons of rock work there the last few years and are still working on it. I’ve tubed it, rafted it and ridden thru on inflatable kayaks and the new design is cool because it added a couple “features” to increase the fun factor. I’ve never ridden it in truly high water though.

That whole area where I took the photo is officially an off leash dog park nowadays. My lab loves the water more than anything so I get down there at least once a week.

No but my father in law has 40 acres in Bayfield, 20 miles east of Durango so we go back every year. We used to go in the Summer when the kids were out of school and we’d get on the river every trip. Nowadays, I go in late September or October and the water level is too low so only the dog goes in

"Uh, yeah, Doc... We have this magic powder that makes us feel really good on rides. It's, uh, white, and we chug it straight out of the bottle. Keeps us flying all day. I'm just gonna rub some in the wounds... Whaddya think?"

    :eek:You mean your not!?!?
Yes, statistics show that a thick paste applied to the damaged area will cure well past topical. Torn cartilage, tendons, even broken bones. As well... it can replace flour in cooking, cocaine (recommended only under adult supervision), has the ability to block microwaves, increases mental telepathy, and in some cases assist with moving objects with only your mind. Your mileage may vary... o_O:rolleyes:

Well @Danimal beat me to the punchline...
But if you are looking for details, go to the imtbgear Full Disclosure TW Postings and look up specifically, Tailwinds and Babysitting section 318, Paragraph 87. There are a few concerns, especially regarding babies car surfing on the boulevard, but bribing the cops with Tailwinds is a suggestion in the article...:coffee:

My kid was practically mainlining it this weekend when he had a 104F fever. His metabolism was so amped up due to the fever, the TW gave him a lot of calories as well as the fluids, sodium and minerals he was sweating out. Basically similar to Pedialyte. Went to school today and made it through the day!

Cool, but please stop with this insane Everesting nonsense. Unless you paid forty grand to ministry of tourism and dealt with the Khumbu Icefall. Or the N side.

On another note...the West Face of Leaning Tower was made less difficult for me with TW on board. All my water was spiked. Around 23 hours of activity with a few 1-2 hour-long rests, pretty much off the couch, minimal recovery epic.
