A friend turned me on to 3 or 4 different teas. One of them is cinnamon, which I like to have before bed. It relaxes me and it offers health benefits such as digestive equalization and a reduction in inflammation, and it tastes great. Who else here is a tea drinker and what are the benefits of the teas you enjoy?

Even though I'm a coffee drinker at heart, I still like a cup of green tea every now and then... Right now I'm working on a blend that my wife brought back from Harrods in London. Good stuff... Green tea with sencha and lemongrass.

When that runs out, I'll pick up some of the Japanese rice tea...

I usually let my green tea steep for about 5 minutes... While waiting, I usually have two shots of espresso. :p

I start out my day with a cup of coffee then switch to green tea the rest of the day, maybe 2-3 cups. I also drink a dandelion root tea with cinnamon and hibiscus in it once a day.

I have a fancy loose leaf tea setup but get lazy and use the free green tea bags at work.

Yes to tea and a bigger YES PLEASE to coffee. I like Yerba mate, straight black tea and chai.
The cinnamon sounds delish tho, love cinnamon I could eat C powder with a spoon.

I was on a Yerba Mate kick for awhile, donyou drink yours out of a proper gourd? (I don’t)

The dandelion/cinnamon/hibiscus tea is good for digestion and inflammation, supposed to flush the kidneys too. I drink a lot of water after having my cup because dandelion is a diuretic.

Having my daily cup of it now :)

Psh, no I use my giant mug...I can’t imgaine it would taste much different using that contraption..and I’m lazy!
I like dandelion tea, it’s really earthy. I did not know that it was a diauretic, that’s good info!
Do you believe the hype about Yerba mate causing cancer?

    Green Tea!
By the gallons. I drink it every day. They say (whoever “they” are) that the whiter the tea the better it is for you. I don’t know why.

Not in moderation, I thought I read that it was only happening in people who use it heavily on a pretty constant daily basis. I think I also read that anything consumed while too hot can be bad for your mouth/throat over time.

Growing up my family only drank iced tea at restaurants and I don’t drink soda at all today. We had sodas at home but also made a lot of sun tea. Love me some good sun tea on ice..

Yeah, I think you’re right...everything in moderation. I drank it for a few yrs consistently and felt the need to quit for a while. I love that’s there’s no highs and lows with it.
Sun tea in the summer is the best!

Organic green tea almost every day.

A mellow alternative to the coffee train, and it’s a big part of the weezl’s culture. I have a cup of regular coffee once a year just to remember what black market stimulants felt like.

Tea is one of the few staples I stock while bikepacking (or thermos for stove-free gigs). It’s a real morale booster. You can’t expect to find anything decent in rural podunk, but a handful of bags weighs nothing. Jetboil Sol Ti isobutane stove...I can make a cup of tea in the field faster than you :sneaky::geek:

I’ll drink any kind of tea. But on a daily basis- regular Lipton black. I buy it at Costco, in a very large box. I’ll also drink mint, chamomile, and I like “lemon zinger” and those hibiscus flavors

I drink matcha green tea, first thing every morning, mixed with turmeric powder, maca powder, black pepper, lemon juice and stevia. Later in the morning I have my cup of cold brew coffee :)

Usually drink green tea. Coffee in the am, tea in the afternoon.

Chai, rooibos are probably my favorite and down right delicious.

Winter dream from the coffee Bean is superb. Especially in latte form.
