That's a fun and really fast trail but the climb out sucks. :D

Agreed! And the guys I rode with had just finished coming back up. I talked them into doing it again because I had never done that trail.
    .
Sign of a good riding Bud or a really good DH!?

So I'm not the only one?
Used to be the way we accessed the p-12 trails. Facing that climb at the beginning of a ride sucked. It shouldn't be that hard but for some reason it is.:gag:

The loose stuff has packed down but now there are ruts. I see a shovel in someone's hands in the near future.
    Thanks @scottay

@Maddog introduced me to that trail and it’s one of my favorites. Is that Butch you’re chasing?

You're a medium sized rider, as am I. From what I have read, bikes are actually designed around medium sized riders and then adjusted for those who are smaller and those who are 9 feet tall.

Either way I rode with Butch today and he’s deceptively fast, smooth, 9 foot tall, and fun to ride with.

I'm going to be in Lancaster on Sunday (soccer), and I might have time for a 90-minute ride. Is this close to the Embassy Suite (it is not on TrailForks)?

Is it under a different name in Trailforks?
Now that I know it is that close I'll do some research and find me a short loop for Sunday morning.

    (

    I would a appreciate a strava link)

P-12 is the place to park and all trails can be accessed from there.
    .
P12 or Joshua Ranch is the name of the area which has a jumble of different trails and connectors, much like Tapia.
    .
Oh Yeah and 905a are at the far west end and drop toward the aqueduct and require a good climb out. They are near the furthest "bench".....you'll see a couple of benches on the highest "knolls".
    .
Rick O shay and Revolution start from atop the central/highest bench area. Both very fun trails.
    .
Klunker and DogDrop kinda start from lower and towards the south.
    .
Lots of XC type connectors on both north and south ridges. I personally just try to connect the above mentioned trails.
    .
Ask someone to point you in the right direction. If they have a red Squeaky Wheel jersey on they can probably help you.
    .
Mikie and VT probably have some good strava routes also.
    Have fun!

    Good advice @scottay .
Pretty cool that you saw a bobcat up there too. I’ve never seen one on those trails.
