Do we think Tomm (Sat) will be open in laguna OCParks?

Not sure how much rain they got Thurs, but wondering if we think the parks will be open, Aliso or Laguna Wilderness?

I know the trail work that was scheduled for the Oaks tomorrow, was postponed to Sunday.

 

Even if LCWP does open tomorrow, the chances are CCSP won't be, they're usually at least one day later opening than the county parks

 

Got about an inch. Probly closed tomorrow, perhaps open Sunday. keep checking OC parks.com

 

I think "Tomm" is supposed to mean "tomorrow."

Website shows open. Well, to be more precise, website does not say closed.
It did say "trails closed due to wet and muddy conditions" when I posted the link last night.
Go get some!

 

LCWP still closed and so is CCSP

 

How is that possible? I have clicked on the website three times. No "closed" notice this morning, but it was there last night.

The phone message does say closed, however.
So I retract my "go get some" and replace it with a "go do trail work" with Jim at Luge. Hit him up with a PM @kioti

Further edit, seems OC Parks has updated (again) LCWP is now open

 

Now the LCWP closure alert is gone! I just went for a quick pre-work run along the ridge near meadows and mentally. Dirt looks great, tacky but not muddy except for area above Meadows. oddly, trails closed signs were up at meadows and mentally, not sure but in the past the park has sometimes been lazy about going over there and changing those signs immediately afer updating the website.

 

They just tweeted this update.

 

The upper part of Meadows is unmanageable when it's muddy. The mud sticks to everything instantly and immobilizes the bike. Ask me how I know.

 

Yup, that’s why I like to hit Mentally after a rain, that trails good when damp.
