Two colors is just fine, especially the '18 offerings. I love the whiteish/grey and the mango has definitely grown on me. Santa Cruz paint holds up really well also. I know @Mikie and myself have been flogging on em pretty hard and they still look good when cleaned up.

Deals or not, says an awful lot about the bike when such a wide range of guys here are riding em. Gears and suspension... Way to go @Faust29.

Black Friday = Hell to the No.....
However, Cyber Monday is my poison. I'm hoping to snatch a good smart trainer that I can pair with the Zwift app and try my hand at indoor training when it's too cold, dark and spooky out for this city boy.

 

Seems like Black Friday has turned into online and in-store sales the week of and after Thanksgiving so no need to get smothered at the front doors.

Never been into buying things just because they are cheap but this year I am going to be looking at online deals for a TV for our play room, so I have something to look for this year. So tired of watching Beauty and the Beast instead of Live PD on weekends, time the kiddos get their own movie tv!

 

Believe it or not, that particular saddle started life with me on a full suspension bike! It's come full circle... 6 bikes later.

I was trying to wait out the Tallboy R+ for a 30% sale, but they sold out before that. Probably a good thing!

 

I told another friend about the cheap Hightower.....he said he would check it out later that night...::they sold out by lunch. Snooze....you lose.

 

I looked at those as well... either would be great. At the time I knew I had a back up of Fadi that I could always go to, so wasn't really focused on getting a deal. Now he's gone, so I need to rely on catching a retail sale. Next fall! Although I like the 2018s that still have the plus tires and the 11 speed drivetrain to match the other bikes in the house.

But first I need to get the boy a better bike. I missed out on a REALLY good sale yesterday 0n CL from a guy I know. A 2018 Highball, but it was kinda' flogged. But cheap so would have been worth it. Order of operations being I need to finish his commuter bike, continue to look for a XC bike for him, then worry about something for me. And in the background maybe a MTB tandem as I keep kidding myself that will get my spouse riding.

Yes... It's time. I don't need 3 bikes in the garage! I love the feel of the ride compared to the aluminum, but I can't justify the space.

My old trail bike has been confiscated by my GF and is in her car, adventure bike is sitting in the bike rack here at work. And I have managed to sell a couple of bikes in the past couple of months. I'm clearing out space! Just have one more in storage to get rid of...

Luckily I sleep in my GF's room, or I would be screwed as far as living space goes!
