Yay and yeah...no Comet! Seriously tho, I should be riding in about 2-3mo, we need to get that ride in!

 

I think I’ve posted pics and videos of a few of my commutes(and a couple of the crashes). Ride to work often, usually every other day unless work really sucks then I ride every day. Seen all sorts of crazy sh!t. Since I run a machine shop my sweaty mountain biking azz still smells better than anything there. If I went the direct route it’d be 6 or so miles but I rarely take a route less than 12. Take a couple changes of clothes on days I drive or shove em in the pack with my lunch. Biggest problem I have is the 40-50 degree temperature swings between morning and night commutes. Hard to dress for that.

 

Excellent! I foresee a Palm Canyon group ride in the spring.

I had a dozen people asking where their $ was today even though they hadn’t followed procedures. This was my favorite text exchange;

It would be ideal. I rode there on a New Year holiday a few years back. Snow (if it occurs) melts within 24 hours and renders the soils meloche. The coldest part of the day is just before sunrise, not after sunset, so take your lights and get some!

 

I finally got a very important letter in the mail from immigration today. Just a notice, but extends my status here for 18 months while things get processed. I was pretty stressed about it, if I can't work, can't pay rent.... So this will give me some peace of mind

I have some good news followed by some bad news. The good news is I got my helper yesterday. The bad news is she's cutting into my forum time. Oh well, I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Wow, brave soul. I passed out at 11pm (I’m not a night owl).

 

The lockdown at my wifes school has been lifted.

 

A few weeks ago I was called by one of the schools I frequent, asking if I would be interested in a long term position.
So from now until Christmas break, Mr.A is a 3rd grade teacher.

 

My school's FB team just won the first round of CIF and is 10-1 on the season. Traveling to Riverside next Friday.
