Fall Line (and a fall)

Had fun on the new Fall Line trail in Big Bear. Mellow grade but fun, with some chunky bits. Dirt was loose (as evidenced by my biff in a berm!). Enjoy.

 

Ben, I, and a fast enduro guy ran that and New Fall Line last trip. Lots of fun!

Yeah, working on the angle still. Definitely had it too low at first.

 

I hate it when the front tire washes out. Glad you came out of that OK. Fun video.

 

Yep it just slipped over the top of the berm and bam! down i went.

And you buddy in front with the Vans picked good lines and kept it rolling, "butt" ...

Been a lot and lot of years since I went down Fall Line. Looks quite different.

I did find myself wishing the camera was tipped up just a smidge.

 

That looks waaaaay more fun than the Fall Line I remember. This version makes me actually want to go back up there and ride. A great sort-of lift served option to the berm and jump trails. This version of Fall Line looks like a real mt. bike trail. Thanks for posting.

Oh, and I can give Colin a jersey if he can't find one long enough to "mind the gap."

 

They re routed it a year or two back. Worth a try next time you’re up there!

And yes, camera was too low!

 

This new version is a lot more fun than the old version! We saw NO ONE the entire trail. I will definitely be adding in to the Big Bear rotation.
