Most of those are on The Lizard, for sure! Depending on the weather this autumn, there's a good chance to hit 2,000/200,000 this year!

I just finished putting them back on! Missed 'em over the last few weeks! Might invest in some lighter carbon rims to compensate for the extra mass at some point, but in no hurry..

Nice....I just did 1431 miles in 22 hours and 45 minutes when I drove straight home from Whistler to Oceanside on Friday. I've driven 13-14 hours many times but this was a new one for me.

I'll have to check Strava and see where I am with bicycle mileage, though I don't run it on every ride.

Edit: Just checked Strava and I'm at 904 miles of "tracked" activity but considering how often I forget to run it, it's safe to say I'm considerably over 1000. I have no idea to find out the climbing part but I doubt I'm at 100K like you are.

Only 91000 ft of climbing for me on the rides I’ve tracked. I guess I’m probably over 100K but I don’t do “big rides” like many on this board....1500-1800 is probably our average.

On average for me, I have about 100ft/mile. Sounds like you're right about there. Unless you're spinning down the SART to Huntington, you're going to be climbing some!!!

Yeah, I always try to explain that 100' per mile is a good average which is why 3000' in 5 miles make me sh*t a brick in Whistler on one ride last week. It zapped me for sure but was built so well that is was actually all rideable.

To be honest, I didn't start out with the intention to drive all the way home. I left early (3 am) to beat traffic in Vancouver and at the border crossing. ZI was planning on going just to Ashland so I could get another ride in there but smoke from a nearby fire in Grants Pass killed that idea. I then figured I wanted to get south of Redding before that fire closed the freeway. Once south of Redding, I was feeling good and made the decision to push on home since I was past the half way mark. The only time I started to get tired was in Laval, just north of the Grapevine. A quick stop for a bite to eat and a Red Bull and I was all good. If the psycho driving on the Grapevine, even after midnight doesn't keep you focused, nothing will.

    That's impressive, @mtbMike. Most I ever did was 1,000. :(

Planning to ride Ashland again after all you did in Whistler says a lot about Ashland! Did you have a particular trail in mind, or just like the overall vibe?

I was probably just going to do the same shuttle I had done 2 weeks prior. It only had one 1/2 mile climb over 13-14 miles and I knew the odds of getting hurt was minimal. I didn’t have the inclination to go explore since I was going home solo and on a tight timeline.
