I've previously worn Bell helmets (Inferno was one of them, can't remember the others), and they did great. Especially the ones that had the drip system along the outside. Sorta' a \/ shape little tail on both sides by your temple, that let gravity help the sweat drain to the sides.

http://www.traxfactory.com/ Doesn't come with any of that ^^^, but it does come with some velcro strips to attach it to the inside of the helmet. You cut the existing padding out of the helmet since the sweatbuster replaces it.

It won't stop all sweat from running into your eyes - sweat will still bead on your forehead below the helmet, and the sweatbuster will eventually saturate. Then you remove it, wring it out, reinstall, and continue on with your ride. It will continue to absorb more sweat unlike Halo, headsweats etc that become useless once saturated. I used to bring 2 or 3 of those on a ride and swap them out as they saturated. Sweatbuster can absorb a ton of sweat and is still useful after becoming saturated. This is by far the best product I've used. Going on 5 years now.

Yeah it sucks having to buy a product to deal with sweat, but this is only $12 or so and it works. Highly recommended for people who sweat lots.

Old t-shirt or sweatshirt, cut in 1-2 inch wide sections. Tie a knot in the loose ends. Carry 2-4 extras in your pack/pockets so you can switch them out when saturated on a ride. I hate it when sweat drips on the inside of my glasses.

Have I mentioned that the IXS RS is the most comfortable helmet I've worn? Have I mentioned that the low brow funnels the sweat in front of my glasses and not on them? Not sure if they offer a MIPS version yet. Mine's not.

Gratuitous shot of a really cool dude... and me:

When climbing, yes - a little. And that's a good thing. Who the hell wants to see the hill in front of them? It's like looking down the hallway of the hotel in The Shining! I prefer to just stare at the ground and pedal.

No, seriously, I ride with my hands about 3" lower than my hips, so yes, the IXS makes it a bit more difficult to see while riding uphill. Visibility is no problem when it really counts - on the descents!

The one that's not the TLD A1!

(The green one on the incredibly handsome model-esque manly man is the IXS). The one on his back is a Bell Transfer 9. He has two of those.

Leatt All Mtn lid fitting today. Really good fit and an awesome company, Fadi turned me on to the brand. Didn’t purchase it, waiting to try the Kali Interceptor. Almost done and we can be free of this thread:D:whistling:EB8DE576-3CC6-4202-B3C7-DA449EA1B18E.jpeg
