Dont add any air to the rear shock to stiffen it up. That will change the way the suspension works, possibly for the worse. Use the compression stiffening/locking levers, as you mentioned.

Smart with the clearance, I wonder if I could do that w my SC?
Oh man, I’m glad your wife found the oil, being on acetaminophen constantly isn’t good! I’m all for natural
alternatives..that’s what they were created for! I hope she can get rid of the stinking headaches altogether! As a yoga instructor I can tell you it’s helped many of my students. But I teach an aggressive advanced yoga, not the tame, spiritual kind.

I have a question for anyone who’s suffered a clavicle fracture.
Did you have numbness/ weakness in the hand /forearm and if so how long did it last??
    Thx

I do not recall any of those symptoms. The only numbness was at the time of the initial fracture....before the discomfort kicked in.

That bad fall I talked about earlier in this thread - the one I don't remember - with the concussion, facial rearrangement and dislocated shoulder was caused by... wait for it....

...a pedal strike. Or so the forensic evidence suggested.

I don't pedal quite as aggressively out of turns anymore.

Yeah, it's working out really well for her. She likes this: https://kushycbd.com/ Real low dose works, so the stuff lasts forever. We're sold on CBD for sure.

As for bikes, Chameleons are pretty unique with the different drop outs swapping in for configurations and heights. I don't think the 5010 does that. Tallboys and Hightowers have the flip-chip, but the 5010 was designed around a single wheelsize. The difference is only about 5mm, but I don't have pedals strike problems.

Hey now, if you're gonna show your drop-outs, so am I!

Salsa Alternator Drop-outs are just as SEXY and where they attach, the frame is designed to flex a little to help absorb the bumps. :D

I’ve heard of those gummies, CBD candy!:p
I wish I’d known about the pedal strike issue and the 5010 not having an alternative kinda sucks.
I know it doesn’t take much to strike, so the 5mm prob makes a ‘big’ difference. Well crap...I’ll just have to deal w it and pray I don’t hit hard again:eek:

I still say the Salsa dropouts are the best on the planet. Santa Cruz did a better job with the Chameleon over the Highball, but the Salsa worked so much nicer...

(GUESSING) Dr. went in to fix stuff, it's still swollen & upset at you! Assuming you're wearing something tucked under your armpit, there's 's now pressure in a artery/vein/nerve superhighway. It's still too early for it to be 100%. As long you can sleep good and you're brain is as goofy as it originally was then we're good. You'll know or your body will tell you when it's been too long and something is still nagging. But not now. If I were you I would eat some donuts and drink some beers.

Regarding CBD... I quit taking Ibuprofen/Volteran etc. a couple years ago for my psoriatic arthritis and use oil when I have any stiffness. Works.

I am on an injectable for my disease (Stelara) but I still get a little pain here and there. Nothing like before. The injectable would cost $11,000 a dose without insurance, costs me $5.

The injection medication is a biological and not the CBD. I give myself an injection every 3 months so if I didn’t have insurance it would be $44k a year.

    Only $10,994.01 a dose..
