My pack is 70-oz. My one water bottle holds 20-oz. I sometimes freeze it. So for long rides I fill the Tailwind/Poweraid void with a collapsible. These are claimed 16oz but more like 14.5. amazon, sports water bottles by clever creations. I could barely get the plastic squirt cap protector off but "good" I twist off the cap and guzzle it all anyway. I filled & squeezed hard, no leaks. Made out of kryptonite. Stuff down in your pack. weighs nothing empty. $7.00 for three. Can double as a sidewall repair. I wouldn't trust the carabiners for rock climbing accept if a beer is 3'ft up on a rock ledge!bottle.jpg

Seems like a good solution for a person such as myself who will not put Tailwind in a hydration pack, and who, until last week, didn't have a water bottle cage. I am sure there are many in a similar situation.

Herz, I put Emergen-C electrolyte powder in a bladder and it sat for about 5-months. :bang::poop::gag: In the summer!

I've looked at this type of collapsible "bottle" before as a spare to stuff in a jersey pocket, but never pulled the trigger. Thanks for putting this up.

I have used the Platypus collapsible bottle before with great success. Excellent way to extend your water-carrying capabilities.

I’ve lived with Platypus for decades now. Not infallible, but very useful. Much more $ than those, jimbo, same concept. TFPU.

1-liter size is new to me. Super useful. I’ve used the 2.5 forever.

With the premium price you get unlimited replacement, no questions asked, forever. Cascade Designs/MSR FTW.

I've gotten several warranty bags and the same applies to their Thermarest mattresses.
    Good products and good warranty
