Still have all sizes for Jeffsy 29 Al one... $2250!

Apparently the company is changing to a consumer direct model here... which I already thought it was. I guess they had a distro partner before? The result is going to be lower prices... now there is only the guilt of taking it into the local shop....

There should be no guilt. If a shop gives you a hard time because you bought your bike online...find a new shop.

Good read here about how LBS’s are going to have to change and adapt:

That is indeed a good read. Seems like a green light for a good bike mechanic to open a "service and repairs garage" ( a small operations location with minimal overhead due to minimal space needed).

What a great idea! How about a place like this:

    http://orangecountybicycleservicegarage.com/about/

They've been in business for quite a while. I think they were waaaaay ahead of the game and maybe they didn't even think about the fact that the majority of "serious" cyclists will be buying their bikes online, and thus will only need a place to service their bikes.

I sold the Yeti 303 RDH that's in my Avatar to Cory from OC Garage about 4 years ago. Seems like a good dude positioned to really benefit from online bike sales. I know he has posted here on a few occasions.
