WTB Saddles - Pure Race

In this case, a WTB Pure Race. I broke the saddle on my road bike - a Cannondale Stage saddle - and needed a new one. Fast. So I stopped in at Jax Long Beach and picked up the title saddle.

So far, I am amazed. This thing is comfortable, forgiving, and doesn't cause numbness or make me want to shift position. I may end up buying a real road saddle down the line - but if I do I'll put this WTB Pure on the mtb.

Haven't run a non-WTB saddle in about 8 years. Was a big fan of the Laser V for a long time. Have been very very happy with the Silverado for several years now. Even have a Devo on the TB.

Didn't care so much for the highbacked saddles: Pure V / Rocket Just couldn't get comfortable on them.

 

I'm pretty sure that @Bluesrider runs a WTB Pure. I rode it around the parking lot and loved it. Yeah, a very comfortable saddle.

 

That's what I ride. And I like it.

 

I obviously hadn't ridden it far enough...I commuted yesterday for a total of 37 miles, just over 2 hours. I was miserable by the time I got home. I'll keep the saddle, maybe give it a try on the mtb, but I replaced it on the road bike today.

 

Wtb Devo on both mountain bikes and even ran it on the road bike for a few years. I have not found a brand that fits me as well as wtb.
