I picked up a used 150mm PURE V. Man its heavy and the leather is real slippery, but at the same time comfy. I think its suited for long rides with a lot of climbing. The rear saddle has a tail that catches you.

I love WTB saddles.....been running them for a decade.

Can't stand the Pure V or Rocket V because of the whale tail they have. Just could never get comfortable on them.

I'll give it a few rides, but I think the volt or the silverado might be a better fit for me.

I have or have owned the Pure V, Rocket V, Silverado and Volt.

Like them all except the Silverado, which is just too hard for me. Pure V and Volt are the best fit and comfort.

@Torrent77 ping me if you want the Silverado for a deal.

That's funny.....I really really like the Silverado, and find it much more comfortable than the others.

I just shows how individual we are and how useless threads like this truely are. Kinda like asking what shoes I should buy.

I have always preferred minimally padded saddles with long noses. Selle Italian Flite was all time favorite. Rode the Silverado for quite a while, and for the last 5 or 6 years, I have been riding the Henge and Phenom models from Specialized.
I also ride without padded shorts so I may have some "different architecture."

I too like a long flat saddle, been riding Fizik Tundra for the last few years. Also love a Flute saddle.
