White Stuff On Santiago Peak

Looks like the peak got a dusting:

 

I could see a light snow cover on Mt Wilson earlier this am. Back in the clouds now...

 

I can't see the mountain, let alone the peak. But, we did have actual thunder and lightning this morning in RSM.

 

Had that in Aliso too... which is pretty nutty for this area. We never get T-Storms here. I thoroughly enjoyed it, one of the things I miss about my time living in VA; T-Storms.

 

I suspected that you guys were getting it there, too. Our baseball game scheduled for LB was cancelled pretty quickly today...

 

NOAA said 7-11" of accumulation up there. Wax up the boards...

 

This is behind our building in Sylmar. Snow level was pretty low this morning.

 

For those of us that grew up here. I remember we used to get thunderstorms when I was younger. We would get a good two or three a year. It would put the lights out for 5 minutes up to an hour or so. But, yeah its nothing like a good ol Kentucky or Texas thunderstorm.

And now that I can see the mountain... The towers up top look awfully white today. I wish I had time to take a spin up there.
