Stayed dry on my ride this morning.. a few sprinkles here and there but nothing major, especially since it was supposed to have been raining non-stop since Tuesday?

Send it! We'll take it. It was already getting dry again the last few days after rain late last week.

I just wish it would rain every Tues/Wed rather than Thurs/Fri which has been the recent pattern. Would make for perfect trails by the weekend rather than have to seek out what can handle the wet along with everyone else.

Been going non stop here for a few hours. Probably canceling my ride tonight. Won't decide until I get home and chores done at about 4. Sycamore in Riverside handles water well, and some rain is fine, but not sure I want to spend several hours in it.

.24 inches at Santiago Peak in the last 6 hours. Not exactly a deluge. Harding and Silverado Canyons are showing .28. I'll take some more, please.

Don't hold your breath. Although we saw steady rain in my location all day long, it was light to medium with only a few brief moments of heavy rain. What we got is going to add nicely to our seasonal rain totals and I for one am happy it wasn't a deluge. I had to drive on the freeway today while it was raining and it was scary enough, thank you.

i was hoping for a bit more of a deluge in laguna.. We are still way below average rainfall this season in OC, the situation is better further north though. Not much chance for significant precip after march.

We are very lucky to have received this much. We are in a drought cycle for some years to come still. Although this March's totals will not be life changing, you can still use the term "March miracle" if you consider the lack of rain in the months prior.

It was definitely on the warm side down here. I took my dog out at 5:15 am and just wore shorts it was so warm. I commented to my wife that it felt a bit like Hawaii

Yes, it is humid even though it's cold up here (it's 55 degrees!). I noticed that I was sweating a lot when I was working in the garage earlier today.

My bud in Tucson says it's upper 80s right now out there.

What? It was pouring down rain and in the 60s in Simi Valley today. I was sweating so much I would have been better off not wearing my rain jacket!

Did you boys (and girls) up north get much? It rained again here for about 30 minutes. Still a far cry from the super soaker that was predicted.

I’d say we got 1-2” in the foothils bordering the San Gabes.

I hear Ventura County got the brunt of the energy.

Another 1.1" in Simi making the storm total 2.4". About 2" less than predicted.

Heck, it's still sprinkling enough here to hear water trickling down the roof drains. The clouds get squished here against the San Gabes. Like squeezing a wet sponge. :D

What a gyp here in Laguna. Predicted 1”, got .25”. At least the parks should be open for you weekend warriors!
But it’s good that most of Cali further north got a decent soaking.

Upper Harding Canyon was the winner in this area with .7", and the top of Motorway was a close second at .6". Santiago Peak only recorded .35".
