Vincent is inviting you to his B-day ride. NO GIFTS, just ride. Roll out 8:00 from Windsor Ave. Climb up Fern 1000(?) feet to descend El Prieto. Sweet flowy singletrack with some chunk. Bring awareness bells if you have them for the hikers. Climb back up Fern again 2000(?) feet all the way to Ken Burton. Descend many tight switckbacks with exposure. Great views. We'll trape through a hopefully dry riverbed, gaze at an old dam and head out via Arroyo. Watch out for some Poison Oak here and there. May stop by the Congregation Ale House in Pasadena for some brewhas after. Rootbeer for Vince lol.

Happy B-day Vincent! I think this needs to be attended. I'll try to make it at least for the first loop. Love Congregation, that's my wife and I's usual lunch spot after my Saturday rides-great choice!

Rode through El P last week and at that point, the P.O. had yet to come out of hibernation.

HOWEVER, I rode Cherry Canyon this afternoon and the darned vines are just starting to sprout.

@Grego not suggesting adding sunset to your proposed route. Skip Ken Burton instead and do El P and sunset. It's no more than 16 miles to do that but way more bang for your buck, and sunset makes El P look like a walk in the park
