¡Taco Tuesday!

I have no idea why National Taco Day is on a Wednesday but who says you can't have tacos two days in a row?

 

They should do it like Thanksgiving and have it on the 2nd Tuesday of a given month. Not pick a date... just sayin'

 

Why? This way they sell MORE tacos!

 

My kid has figured out that Wednesday night rides end with me passing by Taco Plaza on the way home. I usually get a request by text an hour into the ride... "Hey, Dad... You stopping anywhere on the way home?"

I was happy to oblige last night!

Did a 30-miler after work tonite. Then taco tuesday!

Bottomless tacos...this concept sounds worth exploring.

 

1st batch of carne asada fresh off the grill. No videos of me dancing around without my shorts though.

She is displaying some skill as she eats that taco. My feeling is that she is a well experienced taco muncher.

All you can eat lunch tacos at Taco Plaza. This could be dangerous.

 

I saw that while we were there on Saturday. Too bad it would be about a 6 hour round trip for me.

 

I think it's a new promotion... $10 is pretty reasonable. And they had all the toppings set out on the counter. There were two guys in there who will put them out of business if they offer this more than a couple weeks.

I opted for the $1.50 fish tacos. $6 and I'm done for the day...

You think that you've done a good job raising the kids. Then they show up at home with a "Big Box" from Taco Bell. Los Primos had taco Tuesday not 300 yards away.

Oh, the shame.

 

Like eating at Dennys when you could have had the Summit House prime rib.

 

When I lived in Costa Mesa, Los Primos was my go to.
