Snow on Santiago Peak

I thought I was seeing things this morning! Snow on Santiago Peak in May... :shock:

Wow. Even that little amount is impressive for May here.

 

I saw a little pink dot at the top, and los pinos peak, when I was looking at the doppler. I dont remember that ever happening in May. Warmest winter/spring ever, sandwiched by two snow events.
Gone tomorrow I bet.

 

I talked to my mom today, who lives near Buffalo. They had a brutally cold winter, but it was in the upper 80s there today. Go figure!
