^ That was a fun ride on the internet, right there!
After watching Danny injure his shoulder at Fontana on a nothing 2' drop, I cringe at the thought of him or ANYONE doing a maneuver that is 100% death if something goes slightly wrong. The transfer from one bridge railing to another 20' above a raging creek was sufficient. Riding the rail of a 500' drop is just not OK.
Otherwise, the video was phenomenal.
Unbelievable! => https://www.pinkbike.com/news/fabio-wibmer-fabiolous-escape-2.html
The shot of the drop-in from the helicopter says it all.
I love both these guys, and can listen to Danny's brogue all day, but their styles are too different for me. I'd rather watch one of Danny's choreographed masterpieces, and then listen to another of Claudio whoop and holler down a course. Together, just doesn't jive for me.
Pretty fun pretty silly some amazing riding skill and balls and cool cinematography make sure you watch the outtakes at the end
Doohhhh duplicate but worth it
Cool edit I came across the other day.
Much of that looks like Santi Oaks - but if it's all at Oaks, then I need a tour guide to show me the goods. Great looking trails I've never seen.
It is Oaks. Oaks is all about the short and sweet.
Some travel stoke for ya road-trippers:
Toyota Tacoma - It's the law, in Canada.
Great photos. Travel plans made.
Isn't there a law in Colorado that your bike must be worth more than your rusted out Subaru on which it is conveyed?
Yes, as long as it is a Yeti. Both Subaru and Yeti are required in Colorado. You must apply for a variance otherwise, and go through the "State image commission."
Seems there have been many variances granted in Eagle and Pitkin Counties for Range Rovers, Porsches and Maseratis, but the Yeti portion of the law is more strict.
