Phil shredding

Skills with Phil absolutely shredding the trail on an Evil Calling. If this isn't some good advert for the Calling...I don't know what is.

 

My brain cannot keep up with that speed.

 

The speed he's going on a 130mm bike most people can't do on a full blown DH bike.

I counted about 32 sections where I would have ate if I was riding that trail for the first time at that speed

 

I don't know if it was the video quality but sections of that did not look like a trail. I figured he was on a long travel bike and knew the trail well...

This......I imagine he knows the trail very well.

 

And the skill, he has very active on the bike with bike body separation you can tell because the chest cam is very smooth through all that meaning his center of gravity travels a pretty smooth line while the bike, arm and legs are doing all the work.

 

The chestcam is on a gimbal, that's why the footage is so smooth.

 

Hey man... don't be such a buzz kill... even with a gimbal... its skillzzz lol

 

I call BS on this. He was riding with his feet up at 4:15 for quite a while. No bike/body separation there - just a seat up your ass and no ability to absorb. Redefines badass.

 

Or sexual deviant. Just sayin'.
