I was looking on Ebay last night and came across a couple questionable listings.

    1) a 2015 Intense T275. Owner is selling it for $1800, says he rode the bike 5x on lite trails. Bike is in Murrieta. Here is a link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-INTENS...496870?hash=item280c168f26:g:ZE8AAOSw4UtWSqEX

    2) same guy posted a 2015 Intense Spider 275 for $2400 with one ride on it. He said he purchased it from Jax.

If anyone knows if these bikes are stolen from somewhere, let the cops know so they can get this piece of crap.

Well it is alum. frame with low end components. He could have bought it direct from Intense as a demo for a great price. Could be legit......

Would it make sense to require people to post the registration number on the bike?

I'm pretty sure that's a legit deal on the Intense. They frequently sell off old inventory and demos at incredible prices. That location is pretty close to the company (SoCal). I'd expect that the individual has connections and probably purchased that Foundation level bike for about $1800.

Ok. Just wasn't sure with the 3k+ price he said he paid intially and then selling 2 bikes for almost half price after so few rides. I guess I'm a glass half empty kinda guy. Thanks for the input.

Simple.....send him a message asking for a picture of the serial number. Legit seller will do it.....scam seller will not.

There was a petition requesting ebay and Craigslist to require serial numbers for bike postings. I don't know what became of it.

Plug for Bike Index... be sure to use it!!!

Looks legit to me, based on the other stuff he's selling and the context gleaned from the background on various pics.

    AKAKTM has the right idea.

The listing is down now due to a listing error.

Probably had them on Craigslist also. Sold them local and saved ebay fees.
