I made this file on Google Earth. It looks like a cool route. I will have to check this out sometime.

Looks great. That fire road 3N14 on the west side of the loop looks like you would get some great views.

 

The route we did last year is my all-time favorite in that area. You get to do two full runs on the techy-rocky-ledgy Hillyer/Silver Moc and yes, the fireroad 3N14 is quite mellow with amazing views.

 

Just don't invite that shady 'Luis' guy... he like doing crazy extra credit stuff (like maybe THREE loops of Hillyer )

Planning on going but gotta be honest I'm feeling about a half a notch better than death warmed over. Head & chest cold have fully grabbed hold. Plan for today is to do a whole lot of nothing so I can do a whole lot of something tomorrow.

It is cool that @rossage posted the mental game right before this ride. I had a big wipeout yesterday, but walked away with a sore shoulder and some scrapes.

I am a little stiff from the crash yesterday, but am loosening up. I am planning on riding tomorrow with you guys tomorrow. It will be cool to meet all of you.

I woke up this morning thinking I might go on this ride? But now my sisters problems are now my problems. Of course what was I thinking? So if I look on the bright side another rider is making the group to big.

Hey Mikie, just ran into non other than Joe Mac at Trader Joes today, it sounds good on paper that the three of us need to ride but I really am having some epic problems with my mom dad and sister, for me not to be riding you know it’s got to suck! Going to have to miss another one of my favorites. Have fun people.
