Awesome, Jaime! I've got tools. Just bring what's on the list. I'm guessing toll road to Laguna Canyon, head south on PCH to Nye's, up Nye's to the end of Balboa and you'll see my truck parked on the right, near the end. Cool!

I'd volunteer myself again today but I finally have a day off with no kid obligations so I need to ride, it will only be my 2nd ride of 2017.

Thinking I may head over that way to ride Meadows so if I see you guys I'll stop and say hi. Still haven't put the rack on the truck yet though. If I don't see you, thanks for getting back out there and digging!

Here are some more shots from today's work:
First, a turn that's been problematic because the fall line trail drains right onto it. The crew had to leave, but I decided to stay late to work on it. I built a drain above it; then a channel to catch the water from the fall line trail, and removed all the ruts and reshaped the tread. Still got back to the truck by dark.

Looking down, then up, then much later with provisional work completed:

THAT"S the rut that had me most concerned, and the one I thought for sure we would correct on Sunday. Evidently it was not a concern for "The Ditch Digger." :bang:

    Thank you x 1million!  :)

Yesterday's crew consisted of @MattB , @jaime , Josh from Nebraska, his friend Josh from Indiana, fellow trail builder and local legend Mo, and landscaper/friend Zsolt. Each one of them contributed something unique to the trail, were fun to work with, and made it a great day out there!

In 2013, I was doing some trailwork on The Luge with a guy named Jim Jennings. I says to Jim, I says - "Hey, you know what could be the best flow trail in Orange County if it had berms instead of outsloped, slippery turns?" "Meadow in Aliso." And James, being a man of action said - "Let's do this." He adopted the trail as his very own offspring, got all of the blessings he needed from Park Supervisors and coaxed about 20 berms out of the earth - with help from other eager riders.

    Thank you @kioti!
