They sell them direct on eBay too- with some crazy deals. Inventory changes often, check it out

Thats pretty cool, probably one of the cheapest ways of getting an American built Ti frame. Lynskey is probably trying to move out the old/new stock, since these wont move at full price, considering how much in the last couple of years, modern geo has shifted to boost/plus+.

I just locked my credit and seriously considering unlocking to finance one of these beauties.

Just noticed that the MT 29 still uses straight steerer. :( bummer

Exactly, you can presume where they're heading with the new models. Still a great deal on a Ti bike if you're looking for a nice hard tail!

Ah bummer. Didn't notice that. Ridgeline is a little more with boost.

It is a 44mm headtube, it can take a Tapered Steerer.

mike2017 MT29 frame. I see it's an oversized 44 headtube. Can a tapered headset be used?

Michael LedfordYes, you would use a ZS44 EC44 headset

    mikeok thank you

    Nice price! TFPU.

Cool if you never want to run SS. Which I can't imagine on a ti HT.

You can still run it SS. Eccentric BB, maybe get lucky with gearing, or a chain device.

Do they make an Eccentric that will fit in a 73mm BSA bottom bracket?

Why not just sell it to everyone? I bought King's hub tool and have actually used it quite a few times. I feel there's no reason to limit availability to only shops.

There are other options though. And I am pretty close on a personal level with my shop (though, unfortunately, not physically close).

I love my XC bike so much that I want to try it as SS one of these days. I can get an EBB and XD SS conversion kit for the F-Si. The hard part is getting rid of all the acronyms...

^^^This... If you really want one of these frames, watch their eBay store for a few weeks. The inventory changes fast, but some of the prices are insane.

For that price I would probably by the Kona ... better Geo IMHO.

EDIT: I guess that is a bit disingenuous seeing as I already own one.
