Nothing wrong with the occasional road shot! I need to get out and put a few miles on mine before the Palm Springs ride...

Wow... That is beautiful country! Will there be a ride report?

 

Which mount are you using for the bottle on the stem? Any issues with it?

 

It's a top-cap mount from King Cage in Durango, CO. Got it at Interbike by buying the guy a beer!

Never dropped a bottle, but I purposely use a "sticky" Specialized roadie cage.

 

Thank you... I've been looking for something along those lines. I just ordered one. For $8, it's worth a try.

 

Pipeline Trail Coal Canyon...I got the impression it should be ridden down, not up. Or I have to observe Rule #5...

 

I don't like observing rules!

 

Yeah, I posted this elsewhere, but what the heck. Four bikes before The Luge. The trail is visible above and roughly parallel to the bars.

 

Neither do I, but if I don't at least observe #5 I'll never make it up that hill.

 

What is rule #5? [emoji46]

The top cap bottle holder came pretty quickly in the mail. For $8, it's an easy way to get a 3rd bottle on the bike. I had an old cage in the garage, and it worked fine. I hate carrying a backpack unless it's absolutely necessary...

 

May have to pick one of these up. Any distraction or ill handling effects so far?
