Here's a vid of the beautiful Lewis Creek Trail just above Bass Lake. No back flips, no gap jumps or berms, and not technical, just beautiful, good to be alive old fashion mountain trail, with the creek running strong, I got to listen to it throughout my ride. Sweet!

Off the top of my head I would say five or six miles, Bass Lake camp ground is a great place for a base camp to ride the area, which is right out of Yosimite and next to the Sequoias! I was told there is a trail through the Sequoias, motos are aloud to ride the trails, but that usually doesn't bother me. Only takes 4 hours to get there with rv is another big +, hell you are just about a third closer than I am.

Very pleasant trail and beautiful setting. Thanks for sharing!

Did you ever cross the log while hanging on to the wire?

Yes twice, did an out and back, it wasn't easy as the rope wasn't very taught, and the mtb shoes weren't much help. No need to put people through whole crossing twice. Of course, I could have fallen in right?

Yes Fran, lion sign on the left in the begining of the trail, not that it would have helped?

Yah mike, anything after Van Halen just doesn't capture it for me, classic has the feel, and I'm not really full of rage unless provoked. Just trying to stay positve . :) Music after that________________straight line in my opinon.
