Looking to trade for a Large non-boost 29er trail bike frame. Something like a Niner Rip9 alloy or carbon

was LOL at my comments, I went and got the fork and ran it "almost plus" size. very fun. but still my ankles are not getting any better with age.



If you want an "almost" complete bike, I will include pictured XTR brakes and 2x carbon XO crankset praxis works BB AND a fair set of Novatec wheels for $1000. I have lots of parts and just want to trade this out for a trail bike.... text me 4 o 8 - 3 one 4 - 148 zero

I decided this bike hurts my weak ankles too much so it's up for sale. It was a race bike experiment to see if I could ride a nice light hardtail. It is definitely super fast, but all my broken parts in body tell me I need full suspension. It has probably only 300-500 miles over maybe a dozen rides or so. The frame originally retailed at about $1800 No crashes, like new condition.

Wow that is one sweet looking ride. How tall are you? I ride a XL Epic and a XL Enduro so i'm curious to see what or if a large Niner translates to (without me having to go look for geometry specs online). Besides, i'm considering adding a hard tail to my quiver.

 

I'm 5'11 and I think I am at the lower limit for it. The top tube is pretty long. I ran it with the seat way forward on the rails and a really short stem.

Still nice price...a $2k frame nearly new. What's that beauty weigh? It'd make a sick bikepacker...damn your eyes, man.

 

The frame weighs in with seat collar and headset at just about exactly 3 lbs

and sorry, wanted to disclose something I forgot happened, didn't notice until I took it all apart. there is a little boo-boo on the frame protector where the chain fell off and got sucked in by front chainring. but, I guess that is what the protector is there for.

the price is low since I got it at over 50% off on closeout and I figured knock a few hundred off that for being slightly used and hopefully sell quickly.

 

Too danged bad it isn't my size.

 

Bummer....can't run it SS, and it's not 142x12.

 

Still here. Someone hurry up and get it before I buy a RDO carbon fork and build it up again for gravel grinding

I know, but they don't have the same color. thought about getting kermit green maybe it will go with the blaze yellow? The yellow kinda has a greenish tint to it

 

They ran out of stock out of the black pretty fast. Guess a lot had the same idea this off-season. Kermit green is the last color I'd get, if it's not gonna match.
